This is that question you get in the beginning of your freshman philosophy class, the kind of question that the professor is just
dying to mock you with.
That was just a long winded way of saying
god, this is stupid.
It was a long time ago. I was young and there was this boy— yeah, I know. It’s how it always starts.
But I will say this. Falling in love is the most terrifying, most impossible sensation that you’ll ever encounter. It’s high and a low and unfortunately, for me, it was an ugly low.
I don’t want to say that it gave me a certain perspective, but it definitely closed a lot of things in me. I’m trying
desperately to avoid the Oprah moment.
But it’s this, a ring, and the series of events that followed that really screwed me up.
